A CAR boot sale to raise cash for neuroblastoma sufferer Sam Shaw will take place on Sunday, April 28.

The event at the Craven Heifer pub, in Pole Lane, will also feature face painting, a bouncy castle and a host of other activities to keep the children entertained. There is a limited number of spaces left for people to have stalls at a cost of £15, with all money going to the charity.

Anyone interested in holding a stall can call into the pub.

Organiser Crystal Maitz said: “We are hoping to raise a lot of money for Sam with this event.

“I have been around the town centre getting donations from businesses for a raffle.”

Sam Shaws parents Christine and Carl are looking to raise £250,000 for vital immunotherapy treatment in the US.

The treatment would give the four-year-old a 20 per cent greater chance of survival.

Online donations to help the appeal can be made at www.justgiving.com/SamShawAppeal.
