POLICE were called to a holiday cottage amid reports of criminal damage being caused by a guest.
When officers arrived at Rossendale Holiday Cottages in Dean Lane, Water this morning they found a wall in one of the rooms had been damaged.
The person responsible was spoken to by police before being told to leave/
A police spokesman confirmed no arrest was made.
The spokesman added: “We were called to holiday cottages in Dean Lane, Water, to reports of criminal damage at 9.50am on June 11.
“There has been reports of people staying at the holiday cottage causing damage to an internal wall. They have been asked to leave. No further action is being taken.”
