HEARING: Blackburn Magistrates Court.
A 44-YEAR-old Clitheroe man has appeared before Blackburn magistrates charged with possessing more than 57,000 indecent internet images of children.
Norman Ormerod, of Park Avenue, Clitheroe, was sent in custody to Preston Crown Court charged with making 35 indecent photographs in category B and 57,623 in category C. He will appear in the Crown Court on September 27 where he is already due to appear on related matters.
