A MAN has appeared in court accused of sexually assault.
Blackburn magistrates heard Anthony Robert Kirkbright, of Pine Street, Nelson, allegedly sexually assaulted a woman in Nelson on May 6.
The court heard the 50-year-old is also alleged to have assaulted a woman on May 29 in Nelson.
Magistrates were told Kirkbright was also said to have sexually assaulted a woman between May 1 and July 12.
He is also accused of sexually assaulting a woman in Nelson on June 18.
No pleas were entered to the allegations.
The case was sent to Burnley Crown Court where Kirkbright will appear before a judge and be arraigned.
He will also be sentenced over the notification requirement charge.
Kirkbright was remanded in custody.
