A TRAINEE dental hygienist failed to give a specimen of breath after being found sitting in her car.
Blackburn magistrates heard Hannah Blanchard made a 'half-hearted' effort to blow into the breathalyser and then swore at the officer saying he had ruined her life.
Blanchard, 25, of Stanhill Lane, Oswaldtwistle, pleaded guilty to failing to provide a specimen of breath.
She was fined £80 with £85 costs and £30 victim surcharge and her licence endorsed with 10 penalty points.
Enza Geldard, prosecuting, said having failed to provide a roadside sample Blanchard also failed to provide the required two samples at the police station.
The court was told Blanchard claimed she had been suffering a panic attack.
