AN appeal has been made by police to identify a woman caught on CCTV trying to make a purchase at the Argos store in Colne.
It is one of several such incidents at branches of the chain in recent days.

A police spokesman said: "Several incidents have occurred over the last week at Argos stores within Lancashire.
"On Saturday a woman has approached staff at Argos Colne and attempted to make a large purchase with a pre-loaded nectar card.
"There have been issues with the card at the till point and she then makes her excuses and leaves.
"It is believed she left the store in a black Audi.
"We need your help in identifying the woman in the CCTV.
"If you can identify the woman in the CCTV or know where she may be please contact us via email at 3220@lancashire.pnn.police.uk or on 101 quoting log number LC-20170209-0510 or crime ref SA1701945."
