Police are appealing for witnesses after a car was broken into in a Chorley village.
The car which was parked in Preston Road, Whittle-le-Woods, had its window smashed and the offender stole a handbag, phone and wallet sometime between 4pm on Wednesday and 6.45am yesterday.
