Police are looking for intruders after a woman returned to her home in Chorley to find someone had tried to break in.
The offender or offenders had tried to gain entry through the patio doors at the back of the property in Foxglove Drive, Whittle-le-Woods, with a screwdriver type instrument, at about 9.20pm on Thursday, May 8.
The offenders were unable to force entry although the door was left damaged.
