Thieves escape with goods from Chorley house

A family were struck by burglars as they prepared to move from their Whittle-le-Woods home near Chorley.

The family, who are moving to the Lake District from their home in Foxglove Drive, Whittle-le-Woods, were targeted by burglars between 8.10pm and 8.40pm, on Monday, April 14.

The offenders made off with a box of 20 compact discs, a briefcase containing paperwork, an engraved pen and a handful of chocolates, all from the kitchen.
