Man found dead in reservoir named
5:17pm Thursday 7th February 2008
THE man whose body was found in Anglezarke Reservoir has been identified as David George McKenna.
Fisherman spotted his body on Sunday lunchtime near the northern bank of the reservoir near Rivington.
Emergency services, including Bolton Mountain Rescue, went to the scene off Moor Road and Mr McKenna, who was from Eccleston, near Chorley, was declared dead at the scene.
An inquest has been opened into Mr McKenna's death at Preston Coroner's Court.
