Hoghton restaurant, Thyme at The Sirloin Inn, has won the Hi-life Dinners Club award for best restaurant in Lancashire.

The award was presented to Wayne Keough, co-owner and general manager of the restaurant, by Noddy Holder, of Slade fame, at a star-studded event at the Hilton Hotel in London on Friday.

It beat over a thousand other restaurants in the county for this, the latest in a string of awards it has won, including best newcomer, best chef, and best brasserie.

I have been visiting this restaurant for a number of years since its opening and cannot fault it. I have recommended it to numerous friends, family and acquaintances who, without exception, have not been disappointed.
The food is of high quality, the ambience extremely convivial and the service second to none.
