The famous Daniel Thwaites shire horses were at The Boar’s Head, Gib Lane, Hoghton, on Saturday to make a very special beer delivery.
The award winning shire horses swept the board at the National Shire Horse Spring Show, scooping the top honour for the sixth time in eight years.
The horses, named Star and Daniel, delivered barrels of the best-selling Lancaster Bomber ale to the pub.
It already stocked Thwaites Original and is now adding Lancaster Bomber to its cask bitters for the first time.
