A man is in a serious condition in hospital after being hit by a double decker bus in Preston.
Peter Gaskell, was crossing Station Road in Bamber Bridge at 6.50pm on Friday when he was hit by a Stagecoach bus.
The 31-year-old of Alma Row, Hoghton, suffered head injuries and is now in the intensive care unit at Royal Preston Hospital.
The road was sealed for more than four hours whilst police conducting their investigations.
The driver of the 125 Stagecoach North West service was treated at the scene for shock but declined hospital treatment.
