New Chorley mayor sworn in ahead of Civic Sunday parade

People will welcome Chorley's new mayor at the annual parade on Civic Sunday.

Councillor Terry Brown, who will be appointed mayor at Chorley Council's annual meeting today will attend a service at St Laurence's Parish Church, on Sunday, May 18, to mark the beginning of his year in office.

The procession will form in St Thomas's Road at 10.15am and leave at 10.30am and the service will begin at 11am.
