A 30-year-old man who was yesterday questioned about the death of a woman in Chorley has been released on bail.
The man, who has not been named but was arrested on the scene, will remain in the care of the local health authority.
The body of a 30-year-old, named locally as mother-of-two Amanda Beswick, was found at a house in Cavendish Street at around noon on Sunday.
Police have not yet confirmed the identity of the dead woman.
A post-mortem on the body is due to be carried out today.
No further details about the death have been released but a police spokesman said that the death was initially being treated as drugs related.
