  • Buckshaw Village Matrix Park gets first occupier

Leading property consultancy, CB Richard Ellis, has advised on a deal that sees Warner Asset Management, occupy the first phase of a new mixed use development at Matrix Park, Buckshaw Village, Chorley.

Warner, having relocated from Winckley Square, Preston, is the first occupant in the recently completed phase at Matrix Park, securing 2,500 sq ft of high quality office space on a five-year deal at £16 per sq ft.

CBRE are joint letting agents with Pinkus & Co on the development owned by Westmarch Investments Ltd. No 1 Buckshaw, a prominent, self contained, 17,500 sq ft building on two floors, is available for lease or for sale.

It is capable of sub division into suites from 3600 sq ft to 8700 sq ft and is fully DDA compliant.

Three additional, self contained terraced units of 3,100 and 2,500 sq ft are also available on a similar basis.

Will Kennon of CBRE's office agency, said: "Buckshaw office park is superbly located close to the interchange of 3 motorways; M6, M61 and M65 making it highly accessible, and only a short drive south of Preston City Centre.

"The latest phase of the development has seen the quality of available office accommodation improve significantly and we are able to offer air-cooling as standard in No1 Buckshaw Office Park making it an ideal home for corporate occupiers.

"We believe this to be the most competitively priced, new build space in the Lancashire area.

"We look forward to finding further businesses a new home in Chorley in the near future."
