ASDA at Clayton Green is dreaming of a green Christmas this year and giving customers a helping hand to be environmentally friendly when getting rid of their festive clutter.
The Chorley store is providing recycling points at the front of the store for used Christmas cards.
The money generated by the waste is then going to be used to plant trees in the local area.
Colleagues at the store will be working with Trees for Cities, an independent charity, which is dedicated to organising planting projects.
Bins will be in store from December 31 for three weeks.
