Camelot bosses stunned by applications

BOSSES at Camelot Theme Park said they have been left “staggered” by the number of application they have had for seasonal jobs.
More than 800 jobseekers have contacted the Charnock Richard attraction in the past month, but they had only around 200 positions to fill.
Mark Leader, operations director of parent company Knight’s Leisure, said: “The number of people who applied both delighted and staggered us.
“Camelot is open for business again on April 9 so we have had a very busy time in the lead-up, reading through applications and filling the positions.
“I’d just like to thank everybody for applying. The response was terrific.”
