A lorry laden with wine has overturned on the M6 causing lane closures and delays for motorists.
Two HGVs collided close to Charnock Richard services, with one of the vehicles overturning on to the northbound hard shoulder.
Police have closed the slip roads at the services and one lane of the motorway while they cleared debris and removed the lorry.
There are tailbacks of traffic in both directions.
There were no reported injuries in the incident.

Just glad it wasn't a lorry full of beer. That would have needed a national day of mourning.
