One of the biggest nights of the Chorley Mayor’s calendar is getting closer and the public are being invited to dance the night away while at the same time raising funds for charity.
Chorley’s first citizen, councillor Terry Brown is hosting an evening of fun at the Mayor’s annual charity ball next month.
The night’s entertainment will include a three-course meal, charity auction, prize draw and tombola with hundreds of prizes.
Councillor Brown is urging people to get their tickets early to avoid disappointment.
“The charity ball is one of the biggest nights of the mayoral year and the event promises to be a huge success,” he said.
“It’s a great chance to enjoy a night out while raising money for good causes.”
All proceeds will go towards the Mayor’s charity appeal in aid of St Catherine’s Hospice, Homestart Chorley, the Motor Neurone Disease Association and the Breast Care Endowment Fund at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals.
The charity ball will take place at 7.30pm on Friday, February 13, at Park Hall Hotel, Charnock Richard.
Tickets cost £30 and include a three-course meal and dancing until 1am.
Tables of ten are available for group bookings.
