Brinscall fete is sunny success

Youngsters in fancy dress, musical bands and runners were just some of the people descending on a Chorley village for its annual fete.

This year’s Brinscall Festival proved one of the most popular so far with hundreds of people turning out to watch the parade, fell race and other events.

The festival field at the cricket club in School Lane was bathed in sunshine as revellers perused the stalls and enjoyed the attractions.
