Blaze in early hours in Astley Village

Firefighters tackled a kitchen blaze at an address on Studfold, Astley Village, on Easter Sunday, shortly after 1.20pm.

Two fire appliances from Chorley fire station attended the incident.

Firefighters used a ventilation unit and hearth kit.

There was severe fire damage to the hob, moderate smoke damage to the kitchen and light smoke damage to the ground floor.
