Woman arrested for attempted robbery

Police have made an arrest after an alleged attempted robbery in Chorley town centre.
It was reported that a 19-year-old female had been threatened after she withdrew cash from a cash point on Cleveland Street at 11.45pm on Friday, July 27.
A female was arrested nearby and has been released on police bail as inquiries continue.
