Event promotes responsible dog ownership
7:00am Tuesday 24th July 2012 in Chorley
A special event to promote responsible dog ownership was held in Clayton-le-Woods this week.
There were goody bags for the pets and refreshments for the owners at the Dog Welfare Day organised by Chorley Council and Contour Housing. Twelve dogs were microchipped free of charge and another eight were eligible for neutering at a reduced cost under the Dogs Trust Neutering Scheme, at the event at the Contour Housing office in Mendip Road.
