Food fair in Chorley set to show off Lancashire produce

THE FOOD delicacies of Lancashire will be on show when a Chorley golf and country club hosts a farmers’ market later in the summer.
Shaw Hill Hotel, Golf and Country Club in Whittle-le-Woods say the event, on Sunday, September 9 from 10am to 2pm will show off some of the elite produce that the region produces.
Among the participants will be Exchange Coffee Co, Dewlay, Lancashire Bread House and Ribble Valley Gourmet.
The will also be a cake bake competition where entrants submit a cake and recipe.
Competition closes at 1pm on the day and will be judged at 1.30pm, Entry is free to the market and exhibitors will be both inside and outside the premises.
