Remembrance ceremony for Chorley Pals

A remembrance ceremony will be held at the Chorley Pals memorial statue to mark the 96th anniversary of the Battle of the Somme.
The informal ceremony, to which all are invited, will take place at the statue at 7.30am on Sunday.
Dozens of soldiers from Chorley were among the thousands killed during the first hours of the battle.
