The Friends of Chorley Hospital charity has funded 12 new televisions, worth over £1,500 for patients.
The TVs will be situated in Outpatient Clinics, the Pathology Waiting Area, Endoscopy Clinic, Longton Day Case Unit and Accident and Emergency.
They will allow patients to watch television following the recent national switchover to a digital signal.
Enid Armstrong, from Friends of Chorley Hospital, said: "We are happy to be able to fund the new TVs. This donation forms part of our celebration of 60 years of fundraising in aid of Chorley and South Ribble Hospital."
Mary Holt, sister at the outpatients clinic, said: "We would like to thank Enid and the Friends of Chorley Hospital.
"Having access to a TV really makes patients and visitors feel more comfortable."
