Chorley garden centre wins shop display award

A Chorley garden centre has received national recognition honouring the best Christmas displays.
Birkacre Nurseries was presented with award for having the best display in the north and for being runners-up accross the whole country at a gala presentation evening at the Majestic Hotel in Harrogate.
Birkacre's managing director, Stephen Ainscough, said: "The awards are based on public votes and it is comforting to know that our hard work is appreciated by the people who really count, our customers."
