Brand new pop sensation, MPHO, will be performing a special concert in one Lancashire library as part of the award winning Get it Loud in Libraries, and it's your choice where she plays.
Currently signed to EMI, play listed on Radio One, as well as being record of the week on the Scott Mills show, brand new pop sensation MPHO is hotting up to have a massive hit when her debut single Box N Locks is released on July 20.
On Saturday, August 1, the rising star, who played at this year's Glastonbury, will visit Lancashire, and young fans are being invited to vote for the library where they would most like to see her play.
It could be a tiny branch library in the country or a main centr al town library - the choice is yours. MPHO could appear at any of the county’s 74 public libraries but only if you vote for her.
To vote simply visit www.myspace.com/getitloudinlibraries and put the name of the library you want MPHO to perform at in the subject field of the message by Wednesday, July 15.
MPHO will play the library voted for most by fans and the winning library will be announced on Saturday, July 18.
Get It Loud In Libraries is Lancashire County Council's hit project that connects young people with libraries through great pop music. Past acts include artists such as Adele, Bat for Lashes and Florence and the Machine, whilst Hollywood superstar Juliette Lewis is set to play at Morecambe Library this month as part of a world tour.
