A Chorley care home is inviting locals to come along and help them brighten up residents' summer with a special summer fair this weekend.
On Sunday Chorley Lodge, in Healy View, will throw doors open to the public for an afternoon of fun and games.
From 2.30pm the home, which is also celebrating its first birthday, will be putting on games, entertainment and refreshments to help raise money for the residents' fund.
A raffle and tombola will be held with a variety of fabulous prizes donated by residents' families and staff ranging from a scalextric set to jewellery and a giant fruit basket.
A selection of goodies, including homemade cakes and pastries baked especially for the occasion, will also be available and there will even be a surprise visitor to entertain the youngsters.
Entrance to the party is just 50p for adults and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
