Family charity HomeStart is to take over a Chorley town centre unit for a day next week in a bid to attract more volunteers.

The organisation will take over the former Burger King outlet in Market Walk, Chorley, on Tuesday, and are inviting people to find out more about them during the busy market day.

They are also hosting an open evening on Thursday, at their base at Chorley Youth and Community Centre, Lord Street, Chorley, starting at 7pm.

The group are looking for volunteers who can contribute a few hours to help families directly or form family support groups.

For more information call 01257 241636.
