Thousands of people basked in the weekend sunshine for Chorley’s annual walking day.
People of all Christian denominations took part in the parade which worked its way down Market Street and finished with a service St George's Church.
Belly dancers, musicians and a group of Morris Dancers also kept the crowds - estimated at between 1,500 and 2,000 people - entertained.
Chorley MP Lindsay Hoyle and the Mayor of Chorley Coun Terry Brown were among the local dignitaries who also took part in the parade, which was led by senior clergy from the borough’s Catholic, Unitarian and Anglican communities.
