Police are hunting a teenager who carried out a humiliating sex' assault on a 26-year-old woman as she walked to a corner shop.
The woman was left frightened and shaken by the thug who was accompanied by another teenager at the time.
The victim was walking alone along Temperance Street, Chorley, at about 7pm on Sunday.
She was confronted by the two youths who verbally abused her.
One crossed the road and stood in front of her, giving her more verbal abuse before putting his hands on her shoulders and forcefully pushing her to the floor. Police said he then jumped on top of her "simulating sexual intercourse" and shouting "derogatory remarks" before she pushed him off and got away.
Warren Atkinson, of Chorley Police, said the incident was being treated as an assault and not a sexual attack.
He said: "Rather than being seriously threatened she's shocked and embarrassed.
"We are treating it as assault instead of a genuine rape attempt."
He added: "If anyone thinks they have seen anything get in touch. She doesn't know these people. Obviously at the time she was pretty terrified."
Both teenagers are said to be white, aged about 17-18 and 5ft 9ins-5ft 10ins tall.
One had short, dark hair, with a round-shaped baby face. He was wearing a dark coloured jumper and jeans.
