Money is being raised for the incubator appeal at Chorley and South Ribble District Hospital.

Launched in May 2007, the appeal uses old incubators positioned inside the main entrance at Chorley and South Ribble District Hospital to collect loose change and unwanted foreign currency.

Money raised goes towards purchasing items and making changes in and around the hospital for the benefit of both the patients and visitors.

Staff at Vanguard Healthcare's mobile surgical unit at the hospital will be selling raffle tickets where participants can win numerous prizes, including meals, gym memberships, Easter egg hampers, and a round of golf.

The winning tickets will be drawn on April 11, and more than £200 has already been raised.

To buy tickets, call Claire McFerran on 01257 261222 ext 7076.
