Unfortunately, due to the pathetic, lenient sentences handed out to the perpetrators they will continue in their sick behaviour.
The only way to keep these vile excuses for human beings from taking advantage of young girls is to dish out some serious sentencing, i wont hold my breath...

Im pleased to see that finaly we can say in the press that in this case it was an Asian gang. For too long, many people new of such gangs, but because some of them were Asian, the police did not want to get involved for fear of being called racist. If it was the case that the guilty were Asian, then there is nothing racist about saying so. Anyway, I think the sentance for such a crime that's stated in the Koran is death.

Agree with opening remark ! There's other EXACTLY similar stories in the national press this week. Stop this " ooh, I can't criticise THAT section of the community because I'll be called a bigot ". Facts are FACTS ! Glad to see the LT reported the important fact.

castration unless agreed by the deviant would bring the same problem as hanging, once carried out there is no going back and we hanged lots of innocent people.

The Telegraph was patting itself on the back a month ago. They were saying how they have led the way in highlighting this issue with the teams dealing with it.
What the telegraph didn't say was that it has only been in the past 5 years that they have taken this on board.
For 13-15 years they denied there was a problem along with the Politically Correct brigade. They refused to publish letters from the average working man that knew what was going on. They dismissed it as Right Wing propaganda.

well done to the mum for standing up to these swine. It's been mentioned before that threats have been made to the families of the abused when the police become involved and I salute your bravery. I hope your daughter recovers from this.

You raise some valid points there LITM. But unlike hanging someone for a crime such as murder as we did back in the day, where they could be proved innocent after, this is quite different.
I'm sure that with the right support and police protection, these girls can correctly identify the scum that exploited them.

there was a story yesterday on the BBC website about 9 men being charged for a range of sexual offences against seven girls in Shropshire.

I'm glad it's being picked up more by the national press and it's good that the LT is contributing to the awareness of these type of crime. Lets hope it makes a difference.
