A COMPANY that helps businesses thrive by devising revenue-boosting sales strategies has launched a training division to implement them.

Sales Geek provides firms with all the expertise of a sales director but for the fraction of the price of employing one.

Owner Richard Few spends as little as a couple of hours a month and up to a day a week at a company, creating the best strategies that suit the business model.

And now the 34-year-old and Jonathan Finch have created Your Sales Trainer to develop better sales people and sales teams.

Richard said: “Since we started trading, providing training is the one service that has been continually requested.

“And now through Jonathan’s expert knowledge and unique style, we can provide businesses with this.

“It is all very exciting and we are sure it will be of great benefit to companies because we share the exact same values, ethics and beliefs on how sales should be.”

Richard, whose offices are at Halls Arms Business Centre, Clitheroe Road, Knowle Green, added: “Although we are both in sales, we are at opposite ends of the spectrum so our skills will complement each other very well.

“Jonathan is a very talented person and I’m sure this joint venture will be a great success.”

Your Sales Trainer aims to work with companies that want to build long and trusted relationships with its clients.

Jonathan, 28, will spend time with the sales teams to ensure he thoroughly understands the business and the staff.

Jonathan, who was sales director at the University of Salford, will then customise and develop the content of the training to suit the individual company.

Jonathan said: “Every sales team is different so why would all sales training be the same?

“We cannot offer an overnight solution for long-term success, but what we can provide is a sustainable strategy that will keep your company ahead of the competition and keep your staff engaged.

He added: “It’s about teaching the sales teams how to create better relationships with their clients, to work better with them which, in turn, will increase sales.

“Sales is all about helping people. The more you help people the stronger and longer-lasting relationships become.”

Richard and Jonathan believe they provide a unique service in Lancashire of having the skill set to go into a business to tackle both the strategic and tactical aspects of sales.

Richard added: “We are now in a stronger position to ensure that our clients’ businesses are a success.”

Sales Geek was launched in 2017 to give small and medium sized companies the chance to have greater success through better sales strategy and now training.

Since then, it has generated more than £4 million worth of additional sales for its clients.

Sales Geek has a unique non-compete policy that prevents it from working with two companies in the same sector and geographical area.
