Leading North West legal firm Forbes Solicitors has expanded its Contentious Trusts and Probate Team with the recruitment of Solicitor Tom Howcroft.
Tom joins Associate Solicitor Ben Wilson at the firm’s Central Lancashire office as the team continues to build on its reputation for expert advice on all matters connected to wills and inheritance disputes.
Tom specialises in a range of matters, including:
- Claims for reasonable financial provision pursuant to the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975
- Contesting the validity of a Will, for example on the basis of undue influence lack of capacity, or lack of knowledge or approval of the terms of the will
- Interpretation issues and breach of trust
Tom said: “I am really pleased to join Forbes Solicitors and in particular to become part of the Contentious Trusts and Probate team alongside Ben Wilson.
“Ben has a prominent reputation in this area of law and his success and client satisfaction has led to the growth of the Contentious Trusts and Probate department. I am glad to have become a part of the continuing growth and look forward to contributing by assisting clients at what is usually a very difficult time for them.”
Ben Wilson added: “I am delighted to welcome Tom to the rapidly-growing team. I am looking forward to working with him to continue to provide a first class, innovative and unique service to clients, and to continue with our success.”
