Refrigerated vehicle specialists CoolKit Ltd will be exhibiting their latest  temperature controlled transport products at this year’s CV Show.

The Lancashire-based company, specialist in ultra-light insulated bodywork providing fleets with industry leading vehicle productivity, will have two vehicles on their stand during the three-day exhibition in April. 

The pharmaceutical industry has in recent times been CoolKit’s fastest growing market, and accordingly boasts many market-leading pharmaceutical clients who rely on CoolKit’s high-quality and innovative refrigerated vehicles, for their distribution needs.

CoolKit, accredited as an Integrated Partner of Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, will be showcasing their all-new converted Crafter panel van, converted with the needs of the pharmaceutical sector in mind. The vehicle, which adheres to the strict GDP guidelines, features an advanced climate control system, lightweight controlled drug drawer and rack containing the new Melform 140L Biomed refrigerated box. The vehicle also contains an temperature data logger and white noise reversing warning alarm.

Also, being unveiled will be a chassis cab with a CoolKit insulated body, a year on from debuting their very first box body vehicle. The vehicle has been further refined with numerous component innovations providing a usable payload exceeding 1,200kg (net of a 75kg driver  and a 90% fuel load). The conversion also includes an invisible refrigeration unit, for the safest, most aerodynamic operation and aesthetic appeal.

CoolKit have recently secured sole rights to distribute the range of insulated and temperature controlled containers produced by Italian manufacturer Melform in the UK and Ireland, and will be displaying the product for the first time at the CV Show. To drive this new venture forward, CoolKit has retained the services of Daniel Laffly , who will be sharing his experiences spanning more than 38 years in the industry, including roles as Managing Director Of Lamberet and Promar in the UK, whilst he continues in his very active roles with FSDF, Transfrigoroute UK and CEN.
