Sport Relief took place over the course of last week and the team at Donald, Race & Newton solicitors were peddling donations for much of Thursday and Friday.

The whole team were invited to take part in the company’s cycle challenge. The challenge being to complete 250 miles over the two days – a distance that would’ve taken them from Burnley to London!

The goal was not only to complete the distance, but to raise money for Sport Relief. A time slot was given to each staff member taking part, or multiple slots for the more adventurous, to complete as many miles as they could. This took place on exercise bikes located in the firms Hargreaves Street offices, Burnley.

David Lawson, Director at DRN Solicitors led the team away at 11am on Thursday and by the end of the challenge on Friday, the combined team effort had clocked up a total of over 500 miles!

Not only did the team smash the initial target of miles to be completed, they also raised a fantastic £250 for Sport Relief in doing so.

Thanks also goes to Nelson and Colne College and Burnley Fire Station who kindly provided the exercise bikes for the DRN team to use to complete their challenge.
