The leading supplier and distributor of specialist, luxury and performance textiles to the leaders in the global hospitality, healthcare and retail markets, Vision Support Services are pleased to announce they are set to make £55m in revenue by March 2018.

Through the development of new and existing contracts and a strategic plan which will see the company build a strong base across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific (APAC) regions, operating profits are predicted to hit £1.8m; a huge jump from the £0.3m back in 2016.

With a 41% year-on-year rise, Managing Director, Laurie Thomas said: “Our business model is unique; bringing together heritage-rich brands, to hit multiple market sectors with specialised and innovative products.”

“The figures in our latest set of published accounts reflect an extremely good year of growth, particularly across the hospitality and retail sectors, in both the UK and overseas. Our latest set of accounts show that, above all, it’s the people who make Vision; they live and breathe the company ethos every single day. It’s the people who excel in delivering our ‘vision’ and it proves that we’re much more than a ‘box of sheets’.”

Vision was founded in 2005 by entrepreneur Dan Wright after he acquired a number of businesses which were then amalgamated to create the Vision Group.

The Group now has three core product brands specialising in luxury, performance and specialist textiles with seven global offices across the world, five warehousing facilities, significant investment planned for the future and 6,500 customers across five continents.

Now, Vision employs over 150 people who speak over 20 different languages including over 50 knowledgeable textile experts across its manufacturing hubs in order to support the supply chain and the business also operates a strict ethical sourcing and quality assurance policy.

Operating a strict environmental policy, Vision’s customer base demands ethical sourcing to be at the forefront and all of the products come with a long line of quality assurances certifying that the items have been tested, assured and valued – meaning customers know what they’re getting and where it came from every time they buy.

The latest set of accounts show Vision’s turnover at around £47.2m for financial year ending 31st March 2017. £35m of this was generated from UK revenue which is up on the £24.7m from the previous year.
