A team of volunteers from East Lancashire Chamber of Commerce were amongst 150 people that braved plummeting temperatures to spend a night on the streets in Blackburn to raise money for local homeless charity Nightsafe.
Lydia Charnley, Stephanie Warrington and Connor Clifton took to the streets armed with wooly hats and sleeping bags in a bid to help alleviate the struggles of young people aged between 16 -24 becoming homeless in the borough.
The team have to date raised £780 but their Just Giving link is still active for donations http://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/nightsafesleepout17
Nightsafe was established in 1990 and more details can be found at http://www.blackburn-nightsafe.org.uk/
