Established in 1919 in Lancashire Albert Harrison & Co have agreed terms to relocate their business from their Accrington home to Shuttleworth Mead Business Park.

The company agreed terms to lease in excess of 28,000 sq.ft. in a modern detached warehouse within the popular Shuttleworth Mead Business Park.

The unit became available following Fagan & Whalley’s commitment to build a new distribution centre within Burnley Bridge Business Park which enable them to lease out this excess property. The Burnley office of Trevor Dawson was instructed and after a short marketing campaign terms were agreed with Harrisons for them to take occupation.

The tenants are currently fitting out the property with the company expected to be fully operational from the property within a couple of months.

Paul Sanderson, MD of Harrisons comments:

“We were aware that we were quickly outgrowing our existing premises and to continue to offer our customers, both internal and external, efficiency and continuity we decided that we needed to invest heavily in the infrastructure of our business; moving to Shuttleworth Mead will allow us the space to grow into and to also further develop new and existing product categories whilst still providing an unrivalled level of service to our growing customer base”

Michael Cavannagh of Trevor Dawson comments:

“The speed in which terms were agreed with Harrisons shows the appetite for quality industrial / warehouse accommodation on popular business parks. The move will allow Harrisons to expand the business within a modern facility and with excellent access to the motorway network via Junction 8 of the M65”.
