CJUK, a national, Chef Recruitment specialist placing hospitality professionals in a wide range of sectors across the country and Personnel Checks, a top registered Body for the Disclosure & Barring Service, assisting organisations across the UK with employee background checks and safeguarding services.

“It’s great to welcome Cummins Mellor to the prestigious new office development at One Cathedral Square. Since I retired as Blackburn’s Member of Parliament I have come to know Cummins Mellor, not least through the generous support which they give to Blackburn Youth Zone including the key recruitment of our Chief Executive, Hannah. Through their work, I have been able to appreciate the high-quality service they offer and the values they bring to everything they do. It’s a testament to the development and investment of the town that Cummins Mellor want to continue their growth journey with their 40-strong team operating their local and national businesses from the award-winning office space in Blackburn. I know that they will go from strength to strength.”  Rt Hon Jack Straw, Chairman, Blackburn Youth Zone.

Commenting on the move, Michelle Mellor, Managing Director said, “We’re extremely proud of our current residence in Accrington which is steeped in history and served us well for 21 years. Making the decision to leave certainly wasn’t an easy one for the board, however, we need more space and have sadly outgrown Milnshaw House despite many significant renovations to the building in recent years. When looking for new premises, we were immediately impressed by the award-winning development in Cathedral Quarter as well as the continuous investment into the town of Blackburn and are extremely excited to start a new chapter in the family business journey, now in our 27th year.

We look forward to working more closely with our Lancashire clients and delighted we are able to provide such an amazing working environment for our fantastic team here across the group whilst servicing our national clients across the UK from Blackburn.”
