With the festival season in full swing, Bowland Brewery is digging out the wellies and tents and heading for the music.

The brewery, based at Holmes Mill in Clitheroe, is an official supplier for a number of Lancashire festivals and is the sponsor and partner for family favourite, arts and music event, Cloudspotting, held at Gisburn Forest over the weekend July 28-30.

Cloudspotting boasts a packed three-day line-up of bands plus loads of activities for all the family, ranging from circus skills and drumming workshops to knitting, orienteering, singing and yoga. There is also the Cabin in the Woods with more acts to enjoy.

Bowland Brewery will be in the main festival field with a selection of its finest ales, including Hen Harrier, Bowland Gold, Pheasant Plucker, Buster IPA and the festival special, Cloudspotter, on sale in Bo’s Bar.

The Brewery is also an official sponsor for the Clitheroe Food Festival, to be held in the Ribble Valley town on Saturday August 12.

As well as a wealth of treats, stalls, tastings and demonstrations for foodies, the festival offers live music and entertainment around Clitheroe. Bowland Brewery will offer visitors the opportunity to look round its Holmes Mill home and sample its range of artisan, craft beers.

The Bowland Bus, the brewery’s eyecatching converted red double decker, will be out and about at the food festival serving beer.

The brewery has also provided various ales and been on hand at The Beat-Herder, held at Gisburn in mid-July and Tosside’s TestiFest, which was at the end of June.
