Would you like to be involved in the shaping of health & social care services?

ADVOCACY FOCUS would like to invite interested members of the public to join us at our health and social care ‘consultation group’ in Accrington on Thursday 27th July at 12.30 pm.

This free and informal public steering group meeting is for those who would like to have a say in the future of advocacy services and how health and social care services are commissioned.

Advocacy Focus has been helping people and their carers with wide ranging health and social care needs across Lancashire since 1998 including those with ill mental health, learning disabilitiess or mental capacity needs. We are continually looking at ways we can improve and provide advocacy services that the public want and need.  At this event, we wish to call on a wide range of people with different knowledge and ideas, and then pro-actively create new and improved ways of doing things.

Leanne Hignett, Service Delivery Manager at Advocacy Focus said, “We welcome you to come and have your say on how health and social care services are funded, and help us feedback to health and local authorities to improve services for the future. With your support we can shape and improve Advocacy provision to ensure you receive the best possible service.”

To book your place, please telephone Advocacy Focus on 0300 323 0965 or email  laurenl@advocacyfocus.org.uk
