Lancashire based refrigeration company, CVS Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, is investing for growth. Substantial financial commitments have been made to increasing staffing levels, stockholding and state-of-the-art equipment – all aimed at meeting the growing demand for their services.

CVS, affiliated to fridge van conversion experts CoolKit Ltd, specialises in the supply, installation, maintenance and repair of air conditioning units, pub cellar coolers, commercial refrigeration solutions, cold stores and refrigerated vehicles.

The company has recently appointed Nicola Boardman, an experienced Service Manager within the refrigeration industry. Nicola will bring a level of professionalism within the day-to-day running of the company, together with a focus on the customer service standards when dealing with new and existing customers. Nicola will be the first port of call to customers ringing into the business and will maintain the smooth running of the growing team of refrigeration engineers.

Colette Mallabourn has also recently joined the team as Business Development Manager. Colette has spent many years interacting with people face-to-face, building trustworthy relationships and working on successful customer retention strategies. She will be responsible for maintaining regular contact with our existing customers, visiting the businesses and truly understanding their requirements, making sure we are always providing the best solutions available. Colette will also spend time networking within our local area, spreading the awareness of our growing business and attracting new customers to our products and services.

CVS has also invested in the recruitment of additional skilled refrigerated engineers, all with extensive knowledge of many varieties of temperature controlling equipment, aiming for the highest first call fix rate.

Investment within the business also comes in the form of equipment and vehicles, providing the engineers with state-of-the-art tools required to carry out the works to the high standards our customers have grown to expect.

“This is the most exciting time yet for CVS”, comments Rupert Gatty, Managing Director. “The business has grown locally, gaining the trust of many high profile businesses who are now using us on a regular basis through maintenance and service contracts. The expanded team is now in place to take the business to the next level, benefiting both existing and new customers”.

The business is aiming to provide a 24/7 refrigeration service in the North West, with growing representation further afield, and plans to expand into other regions in the near future.
