The Emporium, Clitheroe's coffee shop, wine bar, brasserie and interior design superstore, has celebrated its 20th birthday with a party.

The former Methodist chapel on Moor Lane showcased its décor refresh to staff past and present, as well as long supporting suppliers and the general public that came along to join the fun. The James’ Places venue also revealed its new seasonal menu and selection of original cocktails.

The Emporium also launched a golden ticket scheme. Customers are provided with a voucher for every transaction with a selection of prizes up for grabs ranging from dinner for four to free glasses of Prosecco, cups of coffee and discounts in the cafe, brasserie and interiors shop. The celebrations will continue for the next 10 days.

There was also live music from Emporium favourite, Grace Davies.

Said Mel Oxley, general manager: “It was a great day enjoyed by all! The Emporium is a big part of the community, reflected by the number of people attending the party to wish this Ribble Valley favourite a very happy birthday.”
