Accrington based Cummins Mellor Group has appointed Simon Dickinson as Finance Director from April 1st 2017.
Simon originally joined the award winning recruitment and safeguarding business in August
2015 as Head of Finance after completing 8 years at Pierce Chartered Accountants in
Blackburn.
Currently living in Altham, Simon studied for a degree at Manchester Metropolitan University
and completed his professional qualification at BPP in Manchester.
Since making the transition from practice to industry and joining the Cummins Mellor Group,
Chartered Certified Accountant, Simon has demonstrated desire to achieve, ambition and
professionalism which have seen him rewarded with a Directorship.
Commenting on the appointment, Cummins Mellor Group Managing Director Michelle
Mellor said; “Simon’s appointment has been transformational for the financial position of the
Company, his direct team as well as the Senior Leadership Team. His high levels of integrity fit
right into our culture and values and make him a true leader.
The Board are delighted with his appointment as Group Finance Director and he will be
