Plus10 Solutions Ltd, a Rossendale based Recruitment Agency launched in 2016, providing affordable recruitment services to all sectors and industries within a 10 mile radius, are sponsoring local lad Tom Carne in the 2017 British Superbikes HEL Performance Motostar Championship.

Plus10’s MD Sean Kierans said: “We’re very happy to sponsor Tom, who we have known for a couple of years now as he lives close by to us in Rossendale. He had a bit of bad luck last season so we’re really excited to see him back on a bike.

“I wanted my business to be about helping local causes and people as well as helping business and this is a perfect opportunity to help a young lad keep doing something he is extremely passionate about. Tom had to cut last season short and he almost quit something he’d been doing since he was a kid, so when we found out he’d joined a newly formed team and was going to be riding again, we jumped at the chance to help him.”

Sean said: “Tom is a former British Champion, he has the experience and the skill to win, and we’d love to see him back on those podiums again.”

Tom Carne, of Haslingden, Rossendale has been racing since he was 6 years old on a 50cc bike, and has progressed since then to win the Conti 70cc, Thundersport GB 125cc & British 125 Championship / Triumph young Guns. He moved in to the Superstock 600 series in 2015, but struggled, as most riders do, with sponsorship and had to retire early in 2016. But he is back under the Neatafan / Tigcraft Racing banner owned by Southampton based Ventilation & Air Conditioning company Neatafan riding a Tigcraft bike.

Tom is always open to more sponsors so if you’d like to get involved too, please visit www.tomcarne.com and get in touch with the team, with packages to suit any budget.
