A leading British housewares manufacturer and holder of The Queen's Award for Enterprise in International Trade is gearing up for its American trade show debut.

Next March What More UK Ltd will transport a bespoke 200 square metre exhibition stand all the way to Chicago Illinois for the world's biggest housewares-only trade show. Also on What More's shipping manifest will be enough products to fill the display from top to bottom and its most experienced staff to introduce more of the world's buyers to its quality "Wham" brand products.

"It's a bit of a logistical nightmare, but as a company we're really excited to be attending this fantastic trade show and making our debut there," said What More director Tony Grimshaw, who heads up an enthusiastic team planning the campaign.

The International Home and Housewares Show 2016 takes place at McCormick Place in Chicago from March 5th to 8th. It will feature more than 2,100 exhibitors keen to showcase the latest developments and innovations in housewares to buyers from more than 60 countries looking to source the best products for their retail businesses.

"When we started What More just 16 years ago we could only dream of attending events like this," added Grimshaw. "But we did dare to dream, and we've worked tirelessly ever since to make those dreams come true. We now export to more than 60 countries worldwide, including the USA and Canada, and it's only right that we should be part of such a prestigious show."

Based in East Lancashire, What More UK occupies a modern 500,000 sq. ft manufacturing and distribution facility, where it has continuously invested in start-of-the-art machinery to manufacture more than 650 product lines. These are mostly plastic housewares, including a vast and varied array of plastic storage boxes, sold under the company's "Wham" brand, widely recognised for combining quality, innovative design and great value for money.

More recently the company has added a "Wham Cook" range of non-stick and enamel bakeware to its product portfolio, again manufactured on site, and acquired the acclaimed PushPan range of loose-bottomed bakeware - a previous "Product of the Show" award winner at the International Housewares Show.

What More also has a secret weapon lined up for it American show debut, in the form of US reality TV star Jesse McClure. A breakout star of the hit "Storage Hunters" show, McClure is brand ambassador for the Wham range of plastic storage boxes. He will be on the What More stand in Chicago for at least one of the main show days, helping to promote the leading UK company.

"Our philosophy at What More has been to never stand still," added Tony Grimshaw. "We are constantly developing new products and opening up new markets worldwide.

"We are justifiably proud of our ‘Made in England' products and want to see them in homes around the globe. Attending the International Home and Housewares Show is the next step on our journey, and one we can't wait to take."
